她承认自己长期遭受着网络霸凌，对比其他三位团员的纤细美丽，她感觉自己就像丑小鸭，粉丝都叫她“肥胖的那个” 。
无论如何减肥健身，她的身材都要比其他三人更胖、更壮，她总是被拿来比较，连她自己都会嫉妒其他三位成员。

When Little Mixwere crowned, the first Facebook message she saw was from a stranger. It read: “You are the ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life. You do not deserve to be in this girl band, you deserve to die.”
当Little Mix夺冠时，她看到的第一条Facebook信息来自一个陌生人。上面写着：“你是我这辈子见过的最丑陋的东西。你不配加入这个女团，你该死。”
"The whole world had an opinion on me, and they weren't good ones," Jesy said. "From the minute them comments started, it become the worst time of my life. It literally consumed every part of me."
Jesy说：“整个世界都对我有看法，这些看法都是不好的。从他们开始评论的那一刻起，这就成了我一生中最糟糕的时刻。它几乎吞噬了我的生活。”

“I constantly compared myself to the others. Of course, a lot of that was in my head, but a lot of it was past trauma,” Jesy admitted. “Even recently, I was still getting compared to them. It’s horrible when you already don’t like something about yourself to then have thousands of people point it out. Now I feel like me. When I look back [at my time] in the band, I genuinely wasn’t me. I can’t believe how miserable I was.”
Jesy承认：“我经常拿自己和别人比较。当然，很多都是我自己的想法，但也有很多是过去的创伤。即使是最近，我仍然被拿来和他们比较。当你已经不喜欢自己某些方面的时候，却有成千上万的人指出这一点，这是很糟糕的。现在我才感觉我在做我自己。当我回顾我在乐队的时候，我真的不是我了。我简直不敢相信我有多痛苦。”

2019年的时候，网上还疯传过她去世的消息，引起了不少粉丝的悼念，但事实上，当年才28岁的Jesy活得好好的。
只是她一直为自己的形象困扰，很多网友总是批评她的体重和外表，她甚至想过要结束自己的生命。她总是忍不住去看那些令人讨厌的评论，她说：
“I had a routine of waking up, going on Twitter, searching for the worst things I could about myself. I’d type in the search bar: ‘Jesy fat’, or ‘Jesy ugly’, and see what would come up. Sometimes I didn’t even need to do that, I’d just write ‘Jesy’ and then I’d see all the horrible things. Everyone told me to ignore it – but it was like an addiction.”
“我有个习惯，醒来就会上推特，看看我自己最糟糕的事情。我会在搜索栏输入肥杰茜或者丑杰茜，看看会找到什么，有时我甚至不需要写那些，只输入杰茜两个字就会看到很多可怕的言论，所有人都让我别理睬，可是我却总看，像上瘾一样。”

在整个纪录片中， Jesy都在反思那些可怕的评论，以及它们是如何影响她的自我价值的。这个纪录片让本来不满Jesy退团的粉丝转变了态度，觉得她也很不容易。
